Kurt Newman loaned me his EHX Superego pedal, with the joking/serious comment, "you can do us all a service and find out which of your crappy pedals work in the effects loop." So I did just that.

All tracks are named after the pedal in the Superego's effects loop. The only other effect used was a mini-Kaoss Pad, selecting random effects just to add some difference to the sounds. The main sound-source is Realistic Concertmate-500 keyboard, but there's a few other things as well. Although there was an overriding didactic purpose to this project, the pieces are intended to be musically interesting as well.
